History

SKALE was founded in 2021, carrying forward an Assiri family enterprise active in Saudi Arabia since 1982.

Today

SKALE brings that standard to real estate development. Headquartered in Riyadh and with a presence in New York, the company directs projects from early planning through construction, leasing, and operation.

In Partnership with

Related Fund Management is an investor, shareholder, and strategic partner in SKALE. The two companies operate through Related SKALE.

Approach & Integration

SKALE appoints the architects, engineers, contractors, and specialist consultants each project requires. Its internal team coordinates their work and remains responsible for decisions, delivery, leasing, and operation.

1. conceptual stage

SKALE begins by modeling the site, analyzing zoning and physical constraints. This process shapes the project’s vision and establishes its massing.

2. Design stage

SKALE selects a design team to bring the project to life. Plans are refined based on feedback to enhance constructibility and budget alignment.

3. gC assignment stage

SKALE solicits RFPs from general contractors, prioritizing qualifications, team composition, and construction approach before awarding the contract.

4. procurement stage

SKALE collaborates with the GC to manage procurement, ensuring comprehensive scoping and securing the best pricing on a trade-by-trade basis.

5. Construction stage

SKALE’s internal team oversees daily progress, manages costs, resolves issues, and maintains a safe, efficient work environment.

6. operation stage

SKALE’s property and asset management teams lease, operate, and manage the building, ensuring long-term value creation and top-tier service.
